Columbus southside manufacturing plant adds jobs

The head of Hirschvogel, Mark Hoosier, announced the German-based company will invest 10-million dollars in its Columbus operation and add 46 new jobs.

The manufacturer of forged metal auto parts will get tax incentives from both the city and the state. Tonya Barnett of the State Development Department says Ohio will give the company about 160-thousand dollars.

The proposed city tax abatements need council approval.
