Columbus Public Health to distribute free COVID-19 home tests ahead of Memorial day weekend

As Memorial Day weekend approaches, Columbus Public Health will be distributing free COVID-19 home test kits. They'll be available Thursday, May 26 from a drive-thru at the health department's location at 240 Parsons Avenue. Tests can be picked up from 11 am to 1 and from 4 to 6 pm.

There is a limit of two tests per person or eight tests per vehicle.

Health officials are encouraging residents to test before they gather with family and friends.

Free COVID-19 tests are also available at libraries and recreation centers.
