Paul O'Dette Talks with Boyce Lancaster on Classical 101
Lutenist Paul O'Dette is in Columbus to play a sold out performance at Battelle Fine Arts Center: Riley Auditorium, on the campus of Otterbein University Friday evening a presentation of Early Music in Columbus.
O'Dette, who grew up in Columbus, began playing guitar during his teens and got together with a group of his friends to form a band. The first time local classical music audiences heard him, however, was in a performance with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. He had won a competition and was awarded the opportunity to play with the CSO.
He never looked back.
Paul O'Dette was in town to perform as part of the 36th season of Early Music in Columbus. There is the possibility that a few seats may be added to what was a sold-out performance.
