Calidore String Quartet Live Performance and Interview
The Calidore String Quartet is in Columbus for a weekend series of performances in cooperation with Chamber Music Connection and Sunday at Central. The quartet and the CMC Conservatory Chamber Orchestra will perform Saturday February 7, at 3:pm at the Columbus Mennonite Church. The weekend includes an outreach performance at the Ohio State School for the Blind on Friday, February 6, at 1:30pm and master classes with the Calidore String Quartet from 4-7:30pm with CMC ensembles at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Worthington. The weekend is capped off by a performance Sunday February 8 at 3pm. The Calidore String Quartet will be performing works by Golijov and Ravel on the Sunday at Central concert held at the Columbus Museum of Art. All of these events are free and open to the public! They spent part of the morning in the Classical 101 studios with Boyce Lancaster talking about their performances, their burgeoning career, and their debut recording.
