In a push to get kids fired up about classical music, an orchestra and a puppet theater have teamed up to create a puppet show about classical music, according to The Morning Call of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Composers J.S. Bach and Johannes Brahms are two of the eight musical characters in The Museum of Music, the interactive puppet show created by the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra and the Mock Turtle Marionette Theatre. The show also includes music by Bach and Brahms, as well as Giacomo Puccini and Aram Khachaturian, performed live by the orchestra's musicians. Children will learn just how much classical music owes to everyday people and folk traditions from around the world. This teaches kids that this music is a part of their world.
