Pianist Cyprien Katsaris Recovering After Mid-Concert Health Scare

Concert pianist Cyprien Katsaris is recovering in a hospital in Berlin after suffering an unspecified attack while performing a concert Tuesday evening in the German capital, according to Norman Lebrecht's blog, Slipped Disc. The French-Cypriot Katsaris was playing his own arrangement of a Liszt Piano Concerto when he stopped playing, said he had lost sensation in his left arm, and asked if a doctor were present. In an update on Katsaris' condition, Lebrecht wrote, "Fears that he suffered a stroke or heart attack may be exaggerated." Read more:
