Perestroika at the Tchaikovsky Competition?

Steve Reich cover creates controversy

Artists and composers have always found inspiration in current or recent events, whether to commemorate, comment on, or memorialize.  Steve Reich did just that in his forthcoming release WTC 9/11, recorded by the Kronos Quartet.  The cover art has caused such a stir, that the release has been delayed.  John Diliberto, producer/host of the PubRadio program Echoes wrote about the imbroglio.
