Is Central Ohio Ready for a Tornado Emergency?

Tornadoes are touching down throughout the nation, from Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Joplin, Missouri. For Columbus, Ohio, the past few weeks have also been full of severe tornado weather warnings and watches. Today, we’ll focus on how prepared Columbus would be in the face of a tornado emergency.

Guests:

  • Michael Pannell (Director, Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security)
  • Tonya Craft (Director of Emergency Services, Red Cross of Greater Columbus)
  • Nancy Dragani (Executive Director, Ohio Emergency Managment Agency)
  • Dr. Tim Reinhold (Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) Senior Vice President for Research and Chief Engineer)
